TAKE IT PERSONALLY! ACHIEVE LASTING RESULTS IN RUSSIAN-AMERICAN RELATIONS is a new one-day executive workshop that addresses the needs of middle to senior level executives who are planning a venture in the former Soviet Union or seeking to bring their existing operations to a new level.
This executive workshop will help participants:
- Save time and money by incorporating the constraints and
requirements of the Russian organization landscape into their plans;
- Increase their effectiveness in dealing with the former Soviet
Union by using overarching principles instead of memorizing "tips";
- Achieve personal and professional growth by understanding the
roots of their own business behavior;
- Gain more confidence in their dealings with Russians by
understanding Russian behavior and their own reactions to it; and
- Reduce stress and frustration by enabling them to set more
realistic expectations.
Participants will learn a proven methodology for getting things done in the former Soviet Union, effective strategies and a set of tools required for implementation,
including:
- Key elements of a successful Russian endeavor;
- Actions and resources required to efficiently move from a
decision to a contract signed in two languages;
- Steps that must be taken prior to engaging in any activity in
the former Soviet Union;
- A process for building meaningful relationships with
counterparts while minimizing time, exposure and risk;
- Ways to enhance the effectiveness of phone calls, meetings and
written communications;
- The most effective use of interpreters, translators, local
offices and other intermediaries; and
- The participant's place in the continuum of culturally based
values, attitudes and beliefs, which form the basis of their behavior and reactions to their counterparts.
The registration fee is $269.00 per person. Teams of 3 or more people from the same organization save $70.00 per person. Registration and additional information are available.
