December 10, 2002 - AMERICAN-RUSSIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 10TH ANNIVERSARY, Washington, D.C.
The American-Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ARCCI) announces its 10th Anniversary celebration and
presentation of the 3rd Golden Galaxy Awards. The gala presentation and reception will be held on Tuesday,
December 10, 2002 at 5:00 pm at the Embassy of Russia, 2650 Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C.
The award ceremony and reception are co-organized by the Embassy of Russia and the American-Russian Chamber
of Commerce & Industry (headquartered in Chicago) with the support from the U.S. Commerce Department Business
Information Service for the Newly Independent States (BISNIS) and the Trade Representation of the Russian
Federation in the United States.
The event is targeted to senior executives of the U.S. companies interested in U.S.-Russian trade &
investment, government officials, and leaders of professional/trade associations.
In conjunction with the 10th Anniversary celebration, the ARCCI will host the delegation from Russia led by
the Governor of Arkhangelskaya Oblast Anatoly A. Efremov and Chairman of the Government of the Republic
of Hakassiya Alexei I. Lebed.
Executive roundtables and individual meetings with the Governor of Arkhangelskaya Oblast, Chairman of the
Government of the Republic of Hakassiya and delegation participants will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2002,
from 3:00 - 5 pm at the Embassy of Russia, 2650 Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C. There
will be industry representatives from oil & gas, machine building, ship building, lumber, shoe
manufacturing, agribusiness, construction, retail software development and financial investments and
management sectors.

Attendance at the American-Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ARCCI) 10th Anniversary roundtables and
attendance at the Golden Galaxy Awards Ceremony and Gala Reception is by invitation only. Thanks to
generous contributions from our corporate sponsors, complimentary invitations have been extended to members
of the ARCCI, government officials, members of the U.S. Congress, and guests of the Embassy of the Russian
Federation. Subject to space availability, a limited number of additional invitations may be provided to
senior corporate executives, trade associations leaders and academic faculty interested in U.S.-Russian trade
and investment.
