Departure of guests
What will be the difference between Summit 2001 and 2002
Our goal is to do the Summit as interesting and useful for participants as possible. That’s why it will
be more focused on concrete interests of the companies.
The first interest is of course to gain more customers and business partners. We will enlarge the
match-making part, separate it into a special section and give more space and time for it. Every IT
outsourcing buyer (potential customer) will get the own table with a number, so it will be easy to find
the company you are looking for even if you had no time to book a meeting beforehand.
We will also arrange an exhibition of companies and solutions. The exhibition will be divided in two
parts: the first part will be devoted to IT outsourcing providers which can show their solutions for
potential customers and different software development companies which present their products. The
other part of the exhibition will be given to IT Associations from all over the world which will present
their catalogues and information materials about their members.
The second interest is the most actual topics for IT outsourcing buyers and providers. This year we
will concentrate more on project management in IT outsourcing, positive examples, methods and
different project management types will be discussed during the conference part.
Our partners and sponsors
We would like also to draw your attention to the partners of our Summit 2002.
Our partners is the following IT Associations which will come to the Summit and try to get as more
participants of their members as they can:
We would like to welcome our information sponsors:
Conference of Russian Virtual IT Alliance
Last year at the First Summit we had been talking about the forming of All-Russian IT Association.
Since then several regional and interregional IT Associations have been created or are in the process
of creation. At the Second Software Outsourcing Summit we will do an attempt to build the Virtual
Alliance of IT Associations and companies in Russia in order to coordinate their activities and to
represent Russian IT for the International IT community in a better and stronger way.
The first Meeting of Russian Virtual IT Alliance will be held in connection to Software Outsourcing
Summit, on the 8th of June, in St Petersburg. We will keep you informed about all news in
development of Virtual IT Alliance idea.
