Since 1988, the Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference (MAVC) has been the destination of choice for entrepreneurs and private equity professionals from the eastern United States and beyond. The MAVC is the opportunity for leading investors to find the most promising emerging and growth companies, and for pioneering entrepreneurs to make the connections that empower their companies to become tomorrow’s business leaders. From 1998 to 2003, MAVC Featured Companies have raised more than $2.6 billion in early- to later-stage funding. The foundation of the MAVC’s success has been and continues to be the quality of the Featured Companies.

The 2005 MAVC highlights two tracks of Featured Companies: Life Sciences and Technology & Services. The Life Sciences Track will feature the Regions’ top life science, biopharmaceutical, drug discovery platform, diagnostic, and medical device companies. The Technology & Services Track will feature the Regions’ top software, nanotechnology, hardware, telecommunications, wireless, and business services companies.
