The Conference on Security and Privacy in Information Society is an international conference for the advancement of security in science, society and economy. This annual conference serves as a multidisciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development and application of all topics related to security risks.
The open global markets and network society involve numerous and serious security risks: cyber crime, viruses, misuse of data, industrial espionage and international terrorism threaten the fundamental values of democratic societies. As a result economy, science, media and citizens are increasingly dependent on secure information systems and infrastructures.
The Third International Security Conference spans all disciplines and levels of security in economy, politics and administration, science and media - on an international level. Besides the conference focuses on IT law and risk management, data protection and freedom of information. It will discuss the potential danger as well as the political and legal context and work out systematic methods of risk defense.

Poster presentations enable researchers and non-commercial developers to demonstrate and discuss their latest results and developments in order to establish contacts with other researchers.
Corporate Demonstrations / Showcases
Presentation time: 30 minutes
Proposal submission length: ½ page
Proceedings length: 2 pages maximum
AV equipment provided: PC, Projector, Internet
The Corporate demonstrations and showcases will enable vendors to demonstrate and discuss their company’s products, services, developments, applications and research.

All proposals must be typed or printed in English, German or Russian. Submissions must include full contact information for all authors and should also include the authors’ brief professional biography (max. 100 words). Include a brief title for your proposed presentation of not more than eight words.
Descriptive abstracts should clearly state the subject and key arguments along with the level of specialization (introductory, intermediate, expert). Each abstract should be suitable for publication; its purpose is to attract potential attendees to your session.
Proposals will be examined by the program committee. Authors will be informed until June 30, 2005. Accepted proposals will be published in the conference proceedings.
