Another important achievement is the very fact of participation of the President of FRAEC (Foundation for Russian-American Economic Cooperation) Mss. Carol Vipperman. She is our guest of honor who will surely enhance both international importance and practical attractiveness of the Summit.
3. Updated version of the program
The updated version of the program may be also found at the web site, www.soft-outsourcing.com
4. Will the customers attend the Summit?
The most common question about IT outsourcing events is whether potential customers will attend it or not. Now we have gathered a lot of IT outsourcing providers from several regions - St Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Samara, Rybinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Baltic countries. That large choice of potential partners has already attracted large companies interested in IT outsourcing. For example, such big customers as large Finnish operational system developer Tekla, German divisions of Agilent Technologies and of Alcatel, Finnish communications provider Sonera and famous American Xerox - have been already registered as participants.
5. Exhibition news
For the moment 30 exhibitors have confirmed their participation with separate stands. The exhibition will be divided into several parts - a) IT outsourcing providers which will show their solutions, b) IT Associations which will present their activities, information about their members and their interest for IT outsourcing, c) informational partners.
The exhibition will be situated in the entrance hall of Pulkovskaya hotel and near the Congress Hall.
More information about exhibition will be placed at the web site during April 2002.
6. Practicalities
The Organizing Committee will assist the Summit participants in all practical questions - visa support, hotel bookings, transportation, extra cultural program.
We provide also extra service - booking of match-making meetings during the match-making session. All interested companies can send a list of the companies they want to meet (up to 10 companies) to the Organizing Committee, and we will assist in meeting bookings.
Another option is a possibility to arrange company visits during your stay in St Petersburg. That possibility can be especially interesting for users of IT outsourcing services who may study the potential of their future partners, visit their premises, meet with personnel, etc.
