INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON REAL AND VIRTUAL SENSORS (VRSensors ’04)
(In conjunction with The Third International Workshop on Virtual Rehabilitation (IWVR2004))
The workshop is dedicated to all aspects of interaction, perception and simulation of senses. This includes all aspects concerning VR sensor devices and simulation of sensors for Virtual Characters.
Papers related to Virtual Reality in the following areas are solicited:
* Virtual Reality sensor devices
* Virtual Sensors for autonomous agents and characters
* Haptic feedback
* Virtual audition
* Virtual Aromas
* Virtual tactile sense
* Virtual Perception
Papers should describe original and unpublished work. Proceedings will be distributed at the workshop. Authors should submit a manuscript electronically as a PDF file to VRsensors04@vrlabserv2.epfl.ch by June 15. Papers should not exceed 8 pages single-spaced, 12 points, including images, figures, tables and references. The paper should also include the title, an abstract, keywords, author's names, affiliations, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and the contact author for the paper. If submission exceeds 4 Mb, please compress paper using Winzip. If you have movies, please provide an URL.
THE BEST PAPERS WILL BE SELECTED FOR PUBLICATION IN THE JOURNAL “COMPUTER ANIMATION AND VIRTUAL WORLDS” (formerly Journal of Visualization and Computer Animation) published by John Wiley.
